Today we had the pleasure of another Bob Mitchell lecture. The guy is a great lecturer and keeps you laughing. We then were able to get back on track (Pun intended) by listening to Tony Koester from Model Railroader Magazine. That guy can really inspire you. We also listened to Gerry Cornwell from Mt. Albert Scale Lumber Co. who spoke on the production of scale lumber. Kind of interesting although it was not exactly my style of modeling. Before dinner we listened to Hal Reynolds talk about making realistic backgrounds using Photoshop®, this was a standing room only clinic. Bob and I still have to vote in the model contest that they are running and we have been through the vendor area too many times. (We are trying to help the economy the best we can) They have some splendid kits for sale here.
