Bob and I started out this day listening to Doug and Anna Marie Foscale talk about making structure building kits as a business and how they started their company, Foscale Scale Limited. We then had Brian Nolan explain how he details structure models. I learned a lot from this lecture. We then had back to back clinics with Lou Sassi (with lunch in between). Lou is a legend in model railroading circles, just some very impressive work from this man. We finished the lecture series with Mike Tylick who spoke about model railroad photography. What a great resource there is in someone like Mike.
Bob and I spend the rest of the time voting in the model contest, going through the vendor area one more time. Like we needed too. I hope my bank account will recover.
We have met some of the greats in the hobby like Bob Mitchell, Tony Koester, Lou Sassi, Dave Revelia and Scotty Mason and we also met some great modelers like Scott Baroody from Geneva or the other Scott and his Dad. All in All a great road trip.
Now up early and a snowy ride back to Buffalo.
